hi have just seen a bus go past first in two days lol i know most people will not be excited by this but it is the start of things getting back to normal did quite like it when there was no transport on the roads val

Hi , Val , here in Brighton we have no buses , no trains , cars or anything else out and about ! About 2 foot of snow , worst we've seen since 1963 ; but so so beautiful . Jilly

Jilly, I'm in Worthing now, but used to live in Surrey and I remember 1963 all too well. I quite like snow to look at but I am terrified of falling and in any case my feet get cold now.

It would be all right if we didn't have to go out in it..........

we have more than a foot of snow it is half way up my thighs. it still snowing and they only ran from 9 till 3 what good that no one finnished work by then lol

We are on the South Circular route and they have not gritted the road.

This is the main route for the lorries to catch the ferries too.

We have heard the lorries are in stacking in Dover.

welcome to my world. As fast as i have been clearing the driveway it keeps snowing again.....we have 1 1/2 feet of snow in our front garden with piles about 3 feet were i have piled it up trying to keep the driveway clear.It has stopped snowing now so we have the low temperatures to come...I hate this part....icy black ice...oh god hope work is closed tomorrow not looking forward to the walk in.I would rather it snowed more. Hope you are all safe and well and managing to get everything you need. Keep safe folks.

well it coming off and fetching the guttering off as well here (not mine so far just a matter of time ) and covering the pavements again lol
