Update on wheels.

Hi, just thought i'd start a new thread so you dont have to read through the old one.
had a phone call today to say my new wheelchair is being delivered tomorrow afternoon. :shock:
its only took 7 days from filling the forms out to it being delivered so how quick is that
OT had told me i would have to go hossie for it, but obviously not. not sure where its coming froming as OH took the call. I was sleeping as usual :roll:
now ive got to think about pimping those wheels

Have fun, Like being on a waltzer when my OH pushes, I prefer my scooter but sometimes a chair can be easier.

Not easy is it, but the difference it makes will make up for the mixed feelings.
Get some go faster stripes, and make it unique to you, and please keep within the speed limit

Its here, got delivered at 4pm.
Its waiting to go walkies but ive just given it a bone as its snowing here again.
I need to get loads of shopping in next week so it will have its first outting very soon.

Hi Rose, I just told him that & he's not impressed. Shopping isnt his fav subject but its waiting for a test drive. he had a test run round the living room :roll:

cris, i have jelly babies, jelly tots, jelly beans & a lorry load of CDM on me shopping list.
not sure im allowing him near it as its brand new & teeth marks are against loan rules Im trying to work out how i get insurance for it too, as it says i have to insure it for theft :shock: & third party injury :shock:

Keep the emulsion for the walls too.....it washes off in the rain....

Glad you are pleased with your new wheels and hope the weather improves soonish so you can get out and about. Have you got the "go faster" stripes on it yet? At this time of year a bit of tinsel will look good. Hope it does give you a bit more independence so you can do all that shopping.
