I no that you thought I would stick it out but the instructor was making me feel nervous, as he always had his hand on the handbrake, when driving as he was always telling me that I should have dual controls, so I thought about it and rang him today and asked if I could cancel the lessons.

I am going to get intouch with the disabled centre and see if they can put me intouch with the first driving instructor , he was very easy going and the best thing off all his car had dual controls and the adaption that I need (push and pull). I am sorry that after the asscessment that I did not take him up as my instructor.

    Hi Mike,

I think this is a good decision. Driving can make you feel so nervous so you will have one less worry. If you make a mistake (we all do) he will be correcting it immediately. You will feel more relaxed.

I hope you dont have to wait too long for lessons to continue. Good luck with the nice new instructor,

Yep a sound idea he's not helping much if he's nervous as a that, the first golden rule is to make you feel confident, maybe he should think about changing jobs?.
