Had to buy another lot and hide them!
The OH can't leave anything alone.
His excuse is that he's finding which ones are the best so he can get some more.
    Then I joined in!!!!!
Who cares, you only live once and the way I've been feeling lately, I aint got long left anyway.

    Hi Del,

Don't know where you live (It says at the PC under 'location and I don't know what that means), but surely your local T...os or S.....ury. keep corn fed chickens. Other than that why not try some duck. Easy to cook and tasty too.

While I'm here, can I pick your brains on how to post one of these little Smilies. Don't know what I'm doing wrong but can't seem to manage it.

I love all these little pictures people put on here but don't know where they get them from OR how to use them. Can you please help or pass me on to someone or something written where I can get this info.

    Cheers, Wooly

I'm contemplating a trip to Melton Mowbray to get a couple of pork pies for the festive season. Must do a Stilton cheese ramble around the local delli's too.

Went to order an organic corn fed chicken from the local butcher yesterday only to find the book closed as they can't handle any more Xmas birds.
its the only place to get a proper pork pie Del but you can keep the cheese i believe its gone off its a bit blue in places and stinks the place out x x:))

    It isn't hard!
please try! (did speak to webmanager re this).

Some people raise a topic and look forward to some related feedback!

    Merry Christmas
Calm down, you lot. Melton Mowbray, indeed. Bah, Humbug!

Oh dear, cebeem you must have been having a really bad day when you wrote this topic. Lots of exclamation marks as well!

I have been watching this thread to see what happened and it soon wandered rather wonderfully, anarchically off topic as expected. People will post what they will, as for many it is a social gathering with thoughts going from post to post in a thread as the mood takes them.

I don't think anyone in a conversation with friends sticks rigidly to the topic, but accepts asides as they naturally follow peoples thoughts. Being able to wander about on the chit-chat forum is part of the rich tapestry of life, (though with other more serious parts of the forum I would expect peeps to try to stick to the topic heading).

Even if threads go 'off topic', then anyone can always drag it back to its original intention by posting a reply concerning the original subject. Plus not every thread reflects its heading and we can sometimes be a little disappointed by the content revealed, but again, we post what we will and not all threads or posts will hold our own interests.

Can I suggest that you try to be more understanding of the differences of posts and join in where you wish, but not be overly critical of others. Being a critic is easy, being helpful and understanding is a difficult thing.
