Hi Lawrence, nice to meet ya.. Sometimes getting a diagnosis can take a long time, took me yrs to get my Osteo Arthritis diagnosed, had my age against me, I know it shouldn't matter what age you are but you find it does affect folks opinions, lol..

Hope you find the forum helpful, I know I do

Hi Lawrence, if you post on LWA (living with arthritis) more people may answer, that's the place for the more medical side of things. It took me nine years to be accurately diagnosed with my version of this malarkey - these things are not always straightforward. I hope you have a better day today - and it's nice to meet you! DD

Hi Lawrence and welcome to the madhouse!

You will find that diagnosis can take quite some time as DD has said. In my case 2/3 years for the original diagnosis, which isn't uncommon and still waiting on yet another one!

Hopefully, as a lot of conditions are treated with the same drugs and methods, treatment can start before diagnosis.

Whatever, hope you enjoy us here, as has been said, if you post on LWA you will probably get more response.
