Oh, Jo-Ann, that's awful :( To have an operation cancelled once is bad enough, but three times is inexcusable, especially after being told that everything was ready on Monday. No wonder you are shedding tears of frustration. I do hope that you will get your operation soon.

Did they give you any explanation for the cancellation? I wonder whether it is because of the extra numbers of people needing emergency operations because of accidents in the bad weather.

    Hi Jo-Ann
I am so sorry to hear this, it seems to be happening more and more, its bad enough having to have an op without all this.
I would ring then up again, and really get across to them how this is affecting you, if nothing comes of it, you might feel a bit better.
Good Luck and let us know how you get on.

Have you tried the Patient Liaison Service (PALS) at the hospital?

They will generate a report that will be passed to the hospital admin who will look into it.

Get in touch with your local councillor and MP too.

Im going to give hospital a ring in next few days just to see where i am really, if dont get anywhere il be straight on the phone to PALS
