x:)) :D x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) x:)) Hi all :D:D:D:D:D:D:D Mike JR gets his splints tomorrow , first they will take his cast off which he will be glad to see the back off as it was very itchy, then he gets his daytime splints on him , and we carry home the ones for night time , also got a letter from the home tution ( eduction Board ) they want to start him as he will be off school for four weeks , ( but i would say as he has thease splints now he will be able to go to school after the xmas hoildays) but the eduction board dont think so.

    This sounds like progress! I bet he will be pleased to see the back of the plaster - I haven't ever broken anything so have never had to wear one, but I imagine they do get one down. I hope the splints really help. DD

    That is brilliant news Mike! he has done well and must be sooooo bored x:rudolf

    Bet he WANTS to go back to school and see all his friends. :(

    Hopefully you will be able to convince them when he gets good on them.

    I wont forget as it's my Lucy's birthday tomorrow too x:)) x:))

    Mike JR, got his splints one set for night time and the other set for daytime , they took the plaster of and at last we could see his foot , before it was lying to the side and was raised up (like a arch) now its nice and straight he is very pleased with it , he was told to always wear the splint as he is preop and his skin will be very sentive as he as been in plaster for 7 weeks . now they want to see him i 2-3 weeks time something about the angle .

    getting to the hospital was very hard I was watching the traffic and noticed that the pavements are not getting any grit on them.

    Hi Mike...that is really good news..having the splint off for Christmas...he will be more comfortable.
    Hopefully they will see the light and let him go back to school after the holidays..
