A few years ago we went on a day trip to the Greek island of Pserimos We went on an early ferry from Kalymnos A day trip from Kos arrived along with Medallion Man dripping in gold with his fawning acolytes He saw we were on the island already and assumed we were German He spent half an hour goosetepping up and down behind us finger under his nose and shouting Seig Heil .When I saw the hydrofoil leaving the next island I shouted in my best Scouse accent Hey love There's the ferry His face was a picture Ceri just looked at him and shook her head Anybody match that x:evil x:evil x:evil x:evil x:evil

We've been mistaken for Germans and also Finns (we're both blonde) but haven't experienced anything as remotely offensive as that. It does make one wonder, doesn't it? I know it takes all sorts to make a world, but there are quite a few sorts we could do without! DD
