    Hi Lynn

Glad you're enjoying your electric blanket. Mine arrived today and I'm looking forward to crawling into a warm bed tonight. No more hot water bottles!

I hope this cold weather eases off for a bit. I've had a cold/cough for 2 weeks now. My husband now has it and he's ten times worse than I was - according to him! My mother-in-law keeps telling me to buy some vitamin C tablets.

    Take care and keep warm.

    Hi,

Following on from my query about electric blankets.....had mine for a couple of nights now, and have to say, I've had the best sleep for ages x:)) It's complete bliss, and best of all, I don't feel guilty for giving OH chilblains after putting my cold bits on him x:))

Sharmaine -has yours arrived yet? Hope you find it just as wonderful.

Apparently, west Cumbria was the coldest place in England a couple of nights ago - I think our bed was the warmest x:))

Lynn I am so pleased for you and hubby too- no more icy hugs. I am encouraged but might just have to wait a few weeks because I have spent so much on Xmas!

    Lots of love

    Hi Lynnie

Glad the leccy blanket has been a good buy. You are certainly needing it there at the moment by the sound of the weather reports. Nice to have toasty toes for you both and the dawgies if they can get away with it?.
    take care.

OOh it sounds lovely. Long may you have great night sleeps.

I haven't put mine on this year because I bought a memory foam topper in the spring as I was struggling to get comfy in bed. Keep debating whether to try sleeping on a combination of another duvet under me and the electric blanket instead ...

    You might have convinced me.

Though we are in the middle of a heatwave at the moment - reached 0 degrees yesterday and 6 degrees today!!!! A pleasant change to minus 9.

That sounds soooo cosy. Bliss in these coldest of nights. :)) Sleep is a rare commodity and I am so pleased for you that the land of nod is in your grasp. Long may it continue.
