It seems that there might be an epidemic of this terrible disease, so here is a list of the symptoms to watch out for. Hopefully, if the ladies recognise the symptoms early enough, they can nip it in the bud before it takes hold.
He cannot give you a concise breakdown of his symptoms and relies on 'it hurts everywhere'.
#
His is a competitive ailment, so if you point out you suffered from the same thing but struggled through and recovered he responds: "Oh, but this is much worse."
#
He retreats to bed or the sofa and appears nervous at the thought of moving, especially when the word 'work' is used or if the phrase "get it yourself" is used in anger.
#
He may be found watching daytime programmes such as Jeremy Kyle or his favourite football DVD.
#
Men suffering from man flu are often unable to carry out their normal chores. If challenged they may sigh heavily, look martyred and state: "I am ill you know".
#
The patient may also pore over an A-Z guide to health problems or trawl medical sites on the internet, with a resulting rise in the number and severity of symptoms
Get well soon, Mell x:)0 -
Or just ignore them.....0

Afternoon mell, I hope those nasty, vicious man-flu symptoms are on the wane. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Mellman was last spotted being 'escorted' into a private ambulance by three sexy nurses in thigh high leather boots, they took him to the man-flu-clinic where he will be waited on hand and foot by several more gorgeous nurses in even tighter uniforms... They will bring him soup and an x-box with shooting games and driving games, what a proper bloke needs when seriously ill with this viscious disease.. They will hand feed him grapes and more importantly (wimmin folk take note now...) laugh at his jokes and tell him that he IS better looking than Brad Pitt or Jude Law, and he would be a great James Bond.
This shall last until the fever has broke and He feels well enough to leave, it is normal however, and also expected, for the fellow in question to feign illness for a little bit longer, someone has to keep them nurses in a job!!!
