I have no luck with cars........

I am just about the unluckiest person I know when it comes to cars, so far I have had four motability cars, first was crashed into by some idiot not paying attention, then he claimed it was my fault, went to court and they ruled in HIS favour, so there went my £75 excess and good condition bonus (up till last month ANY claim would cancel any chance of getting the bonus) while it was being repaired I got a courtesy car, within ten minutes of having it parked outside my house, the numpty down the road reversed into it in his scaffolding wagon, that was a fun conversation with the rental firm, "Erm, I've just collected a car about twenty minutes ago, erm, I need another one!", my second one was damaged outside the house while I was in bed, some idiot did a three point turn scraping all the way down one side of mine before driving off, got that repaired (another £75) and three months later some drunk students came down our street pushing a trade wheelie bin into as many cars as possible before running off, again in the middle of the night, and yet again, £75... Then the brake pipe split on it at a major junction, fortunately I managed to stop with the handbrake... Took six weeks to get a new brake pipe, at that point the french named after an artist was Britain's most popular MPV, I could have walked to france and got a new one in that time..... Right, where was I, oh yeah, third one... By this time my left leg/knee was getting worse so this was my first foray into the world of automatics, it was an 'easytronic' car, basically a fancy auto, well with that one the gearbox went seven times, by the eighth time I refused to accept it back, OH had just been diagnosed with the heart failure and as it had packed up on me on the sliproad of M62 on the 7th time, totallt refused to take it back, had to wrangle with motability to be honest, but stuck to my guns... Then, I got this thing I have now, basically rushed into it because of the wrangling, had a limited amount of time allowed with courtesy car and this one was there and ready.. So far, the air con has stopped working twice, the back door latch has come loose twice, then while in bed last year we were woken by the police at three o'clock, someone had walked down our street booting the crap out of cars, of course mine was one of them, they never caught him, then the engine management went haywire on it, some computer problem or other.... THEN, two days ago outside Daughter's house in Wales, we'd just pulled up after shopping when the numpty in her street in his, wait for it..

I've had this Corsa for 3 months or so, and it does seem pretty good, and nothing has failed yet. The only problem I have with it is that it is not too good on petrol around town.
Good god youv'e had some bad luck.maybe you'r due a run of 10 years without trouble. Alanthemanc0 -
