    Hi DD,
Hope you are feeling a lot better today and sheepishly sneaking in with an injection in one hand and a halogen light for the tunnel in the other. ((( ))) xx

Never, ever be sheepish with me - I like the light tho - lovely and bright, it clearly shows the sturdy brick wall at the end of this infernal tunnel! The pred is doing its stuff, I am going to stick at a daily dose of 10mgs for the forseeable future, it should be enough. Pain levels have also slightly decreased thanks to last night's whack of humira, so all in all it's not that bad a life. I hope all is well with you today, skezier - have you sorted the switch etc? Morning DD
glad the increase in the pred seems to be working for you, hope that it helps you sleep well at night too. (or is it that that causes the sweats, mmmm can't remember)
good luck with your first self jabbing session tomorrow.
    Take care
    Thinking of you

I'm not self-jabbing tomorrow, it probably won't happen until the New Year, apparently it will take some time for them to arrange. I am used to injecting myself as I used to do my enbrel - it'll be fine, I am sure. I will let you know when it's starting. I did my humira last night with no trouble at all - I suppose the down side is that on every alternate week I will have two injections to do but that's not really that much of a hardship. I can cope with that. I hope your neck is feeling a little better today, you flamingos have such long necks! DD

    Hi DD

Just calling in to check on you and glad you are feeling a teeny bit less pain at least it is hopefully heading in the right direction for the time being. It is the best you can hope for sometimes eh? So very draining for you to be in a constant battle but you do so with such good spirit DD.
Hang in there, I send hugs and positive thoughts for a goodish day tomorrow. ((((( )))))

Hi skezier, I am sorry I missed your post somehow - I do apologise. Yup, the slight increase in pred has made a difference and I hope to stay on 10mgs per day throughout Christmas rather than double for five days then halve again - that seems all wrong to me. Trust you to turn up with dynamite! The bucket is indeed a wondrous thing and I am extremely grateful to have the use of it. I have no intention of returning to sender - I hope that's OK with you! DD
