Who loves Amazon?

Ive just managed to get most of my pressies done on Amazon
So no crowded shops no heavy bags to carry & some good bargains :))
How does anyone else feel about Amazon good or bad?

    Good I suppose, they've never let me down. Isn't online shopping great?! I've done all my Christmas shopping online, can't do the normal trapsing around.

    It's fine as long as you aren't sending anything in or to Scotland. Which I am! They have stopped taking orders for Scotland as they can't deliver there and the orders I have already made won't be delivered until after Christmas. So, I won't be shopping on Amazon again for Christmas.

    Used it quite a bit these past few weeks for different things.
    Infact waiting for something that i ordered sunday. Saw the item on the high street DOUBLE the price so I am happy.

    I have been pleased with Amazon so far. i had to return one item and it was well explained and a driver came and collected on the correct date and all confirmation e-mails received immediately and I was reimbursed no fuss. However i have one outstanding parcel from Amazon but this could be delayed by the current backlog.

    I am waiting for an EBAY item and just hoping they don't let me down,

    Hooray E bay parcel has arrived. I was worried as I have never used E-bay before, I feel exposed using my card on the internet!

    They are not flavour of the month in this household at the moment. Things ordered in the last week of November and the first week of December still have not arrived: the last date they gave us was 18 December, the only thing we can discover is that the items are now in a warehouse in north east England. Another company has now just informed us that what we ordered in the second week of December was out of stock at that time: Mr DD has been chasing and chasing them but they don't reply. We have told them to get back to us by the close of play today with information regarding new stock/our order or we will tell all our friends about their wonderful service. We will have four disappointed friends (no presents) and one disappointed wife (me). Internet shopping at Christmas? Never again.

    i have had only one parcel delayed/not delivered by Amazon so far.

    Well the presents I ordered only last Friday have arrived from Amazon. One sent from Amazon early Dec has disappeared in the Royal Mail system and one from Canada is due Christmas Eve. I have a few wish list presents to buy but far too tired to hit the shops tomorrow. The children have enough to be going on with.

    What we ordered (the first week of December, the 3rd so Mr DD tells me) arrived today, which is too late to give to our friends who yesterday went to Denmark and whom we won't see until February. Thanks, Amazon. An amazing effort by your good selves. I am deeply impressed. DD
