Hi all , well back and I was very very relaxed in the car . the disability instuctor said I did very well , he was asking me how I feel the only thing that I did wrong was when he asks me to turn right or left , I tend to signal first instead of mirrors signal and I also do the same when moving of , I always signal first he said its common but exammners dont like it he thought I controlled the car well , my next lesson is next Tuesday , I can't wait .
when I got home it was straight out to my own car going over what he had just told me.

I am glad the lessons are going well.
You said that you have been practicing in your own car, a couple of points:
1. Is it not illegal for a learner to be in a car on their own? I know it's ok on private land but not on the roads.
2. If you are in your car without anyone, your insurance will be null and void if you have a prang.
You don't want to lose your license before you get it!

Hi Mike,
You are fine on your driveway (private land) but the minute you go onto the cul de sac you are breaking the law. All it takes in one little bump and you will lose the license you are working hard to get.

Hi Mike, annbr makes a very good point there - the cul-de-sac is a public road and you could get into trouble, even if someone prangs you: stay on your drive, or ask your brother to sit with you whilst you practise. I am glad to hear that your lesson went better - keep up the good work! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
