Today I shall be persuading my meth nurse to let me do myself (it's easy enough to do and I will be doing my own soon anyway, but the humira pens are different to 'proper' syringes, I need a refresher on that front), then gong to Sainsbury's, then a spot of tidying (our mothers descend next week for Christmas, deep, deep unalloyed joy) then finishing off the wrapping of last-minute presents, then teaching, then cooking and washing up. Another fun-packed day in the life of DD.

Today I will be presenting a cheque for over £1000 to a representative of Arthritis Care. It is money we have raised throughout the year at our village coffee club, which meets once a month. As it was my suggestion that we should donate the money to Arthritis Care, I have been asked to make the presentation this afternoon. It will give me great pleasure to do so.

Today went sooo quick and i i have hobble through my productive day. Walked dog at 6.30am, bath, breakfast and off to work.
Lots of running around at work and eating choc cripsy cakes made last night...yum yum. Home at lunchtime and then my chauffeur drove me off to Darlington to get a few last bits from Morrison (just in case we get snowed in again??). Dropped in and bought a coat (for my daughter for xmas) at Richmond on the way home. Unpacked shopping, quickly made meat loaf and put it in the oven then took dog out for walk. Picked lad up at after school club and returned home where we all had tea (Daughter her partner...who seems to have moved in) our our two other lads. Feed the dog and cat...the chauffeur washed up!!!! Youngest lad thrown into shower, brushed his teeth and put to bed. Now sitting here feeling pleased with myself...loads to do but just cannot muster the strength to move. Hip bl...y killing me but there is a glass of really nice red in the kitchen calling me. Oh for a quiet life.... :)) :)) :)) :)) :)) :)) :))

....... I was mostly being 'infused' in hospital

not sure yet if that's good or bad, only time will tell.

but apart from traveling there and back I've done nothing but sleep and eat ..... and pick up loads of messages on here.

hope your day was good Rob?

and well done JOan - great stuff!

    Hi all,
Today I did a 10 hour day working with 3 children from 1 - 4, we had Xmas party here at my home, something I have done every year and I can honestly say although it was hard work and joints screeching, it was brilliant!. Its so good to do a job you love, and the rewards aren't in the money side of it, the look on their little faces as they saw me dressed up as Mrs Christmas was wonderful! Lovely day Poppy X
