hi hope everybody has had a pain free day this week.I had my hospital appointment last week and because my symptoms are not getting any better they have suggested i try the injections. They will deliver them to my house then come and take them away once i have done them and deliver a new batch. They will show me at the hospital what to do.Has anyone else done this? I must admit to being a bit nervous I am willing to try but sometimes feel sad when I think this time last year I would never have beleived I would be doing this. Then i remember how lucky i am and all the people much worse off than me with their RA and give myself a talking too any info would be great and any tips people who have done it always know good tips. Thanks in advance helend. :?:

Hi Helen,
I really hope the jabs will work for you and actually really interested in the bit about them working better.... I have been on mtx some time and now on 20and its doing nothing basically so might ask the rumo if I could try the injections.
Lots of people do their own so they will be along soon I think. You take care and fingers crossed for you. Cris x0 -
What's the jollop they are giving you? In the past I have done my own enbrel injections (which were twice weekly), I am currently doing my own humira injections which are fortnightly and as from the New Year I will also be doing my own weekly meth. It's all straightforward and easy and nothing to worry about - the thought is far worse than the deed. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hope the new meds work for you
or atleast make things easier.
Good luck with doing the jabs yourself

Don't think we have 'met' before, but hope the jabs work for you; you are a lot more brave than I am, I know I couldn't do it!
All best wishes.......
