Hi
Just a quick update. I have got the date for my bone scan, 7th January. It will be a full day job apparently as it is done in 3 phases.
So not long long to wait really, just hope the outcome is favourable.

    Hi Nearly,

That's not too long to wait which is good but far enough away for you not to have to worry about it till after Christmas, hopefully?

Shall be with you flower and well sorry there will have to be a bale of hay in your pocket else the sheep wont manage a full day  Love and ((( ))) and a bucket of hope as well. Cris xx

That's good NB - not too long to wait..

How fascinating that it takes all day...

You might want to read a funny old post of Hileena's from a few months ago about what happened when she had a scan

Morning nb, well that is good news, yes? I hope you are as OK as you can be at the moment, let it all go for now, get Christmas done and dusted, then remount your white charger and carry on the fight. DD

    Couldn't find a white one.

    Hi Salamander,
I`m not sure, maybe I have a double skeleton!! That would come in handy, spare joints!!
But seriously, it says 3 parts to scan, first scan before dye injected, then injection of dye and 2nd scan, then go for a wander for a couple of hours then back for 3rd scan in after noon. Sounds like a long day to me as the hospital it is at is a way from home. I can see a bit of retail therapy coming on!! Sales !!
    Hope yours goes smoothly.

Good luck for your scan. :))

I had that type of scan before I got diagnosed. It was a relatively simple procedure, if not a bit boring because of all the waiting around!
