    Hi Joan

    Are you going in the scooter - if so i will nip on and have a ride - always wanted a go on one of those :))

    You will be fine in the scanner - they are the ones you can see out of easily.

    CT scans are much easier to cope with than the MRI ones..

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    yes thank you the scan went well only my foot was scanned.
    i have to wait for the app to come.
    Thank you for doing this post for me i id not see it till this morning.
    no toni i did not go to hospital on my scoota i went by taxi. thank you all for thinking of me and thank you for comming with me my app was 2 40 and i was out side by 2 30 i was seen early.

    I am glad that you did not have to hang around for your appointment; it makes all the difference doesn’t it?

    I hope you get your next appointment quickly and this weather has eased before you have to make the journey again.

    Hi Joan,

    Sorry I missed all this :oops:

    Glad it went well an early as well... did you see a red carpet :wink: Bout time someone got in early cus we do all wait a very long time collectively probably years :roll:

    I so hoe that a) this weather will back off and leave the UK for ever! and b) your appointments all come through soon and the c) they hurry up and get you sorted.
