The alarm went off and for once i had slept really well (hooray). I leapt up switched the alarm off and must have said out loud. "Bugger forgot to switch the alarm off it is Saturday". In a low voice i heard "No it is Friday". Well at least it is the last day of school today and i will have a lie in tomorrow. Hooray.

Are you a teacher, lupin15? My day started early, as per usual, but I have achieved the wondrous act of being showered and dressed by 7.50am as it's humira delivery day - I have to wait in between the hours of 8am and 6pm - gonna be a long day if I am last on the list. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -

Well, no-one else has asked so I will - who's toady? He/she really should answer as the thread is addressed to him/her! I hope you feel better soon, tinkerbelle. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

How did my day start?
Got out of bed, turned the radiator on, looked out the window and there was snow, cups of coffee hands on top of the radiator trying to warm them up, Talked and cuddled my beloved Cat,....Then yellow plastacine on radiator to warm up....OT with the plastacine stuff, and followed by my daily physio routine which i am supposed to do 4 times a day and so far 3 times is the best i can do...And lots of cursing at the cold weather....
Take note i didnt say i got dressed!! I went to bed with all my clothes on with fleecy and gloves x ......Its too cold...
And i have stayed out of bed all day!!!!! Hurray....

Shortly after getting up, I got a phone call to say that my elderly neighbour had had a bad fall, so I had to go to A&E with her. She had banged her head, so had to be X-rayed, but it was very busy so we had to wait hours. Eventually, she had the X-ray and fortunately everything was OK, although she has a black eye and a very swollen cheek. We were at the hospital for 5 hours; not what I had planned for today, but I'm just glad that she hadn't broken any bones.0

Teaching assistant for my sins have been doing the job for 14 years. Started off in special needs ( they don't call it that now i think!!!!!). Work with 7/8 years olds at the moment and love it although the pressure and work load are massive. Paid rubbish money but teach interventions and more. Well earned rest now...0 -
the pressure and work load are massive
How true, Lupin.
If anyone thinks that teaching is easy, they should try it x:!: x:shock: You work with my favourite age-group; great fun but exhausting x:!: Enjoy your Christmas break, and recharge your batteries!
