Ok ill tell you the truth Slugs are very clever and by the way they are not germ spreading. Long before the first frost slugs tunnel underground . They mate at the back end of summer and rare thier young underground untill the young are grown.
in the spring and summer they return to the surfsce.
Either that or they are magic

Ahhh sneaky little buggers aren't they. No wonder you cannot get rid of them. Explains everything...warmer under ground...
Maybe that is where all of us should go in the winter..0 -

Why do you think I have been sleeping in the tunnel under Val's Cafe? It's nice and snug down there and a multitude of slippery treats to barbeque.... Mmmm, slugs, mmmmmm, baby slugs.. )Me-Tony
