Hi,
My name is Ceri, i'm 27 and have recently been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Initially started with pain in my left knee which after 6 months has now moved to my right knee, wrists and feet occasionally. After many doctors appointments, physio referrals and eventually blood tests, i have now been diagnosed and referred to a Rheumatologist. Very upset at first but diagnosis = treatment and if i can reduce the amount of pain i'm in then that can only be a good thing. After an initial steroid injection (which worked wonders) I've since started Methotrexate, Hydroxychloroquine and Folic Acid. I'm yet to see how they work out!
Will look forward to reading about your experiences, as you can imagine at my age i don't meet a lot of RA sufferers so i figured online is the way forward!

Hello Ceri and welcome from me too!
So sorry about your diagnosis but glad you have found us. The are a great lot on here and you will find lots of support and good advice on living with RA.
The "Living with Arthritis" (LWA) forum is the place to post general arthritis related messages and the "Chit Chat" forum is the place to go for more lighthearted stuff.
