My mum follows Eastenders, and I dutifully recorded each episode from the 19th Dec onwards, but somehow time ran away with us and she didn't get to see any of them. Can anyone provide a potted history of the notable events over the Yuletide period, please, so I can update her? Thank you. DD

Oh del, I don't doubt that for one moment! We don't follow soaps in this household but one has to cater for the odd tastes of one's guests. DD

    Hi DD

Have discussed with kids and here is the bets they can do:

Ronie and Kat had their babies bot boys and both had bougt identical babygros with something like no1 dad on them.

Carol is definitely having relations with the lad her step-grandaugher fancies. She hasn't found out yet though.

Stacey is awol on a plane with her baby Lily.

Janine selfharmed and blamed it on Stacey, but it's nOt true!!

Chrsitian snogged another bloke when he is supposed to be happy with sahid

In and Jane are ok again she is adopting the youngest and is very happy. Bobby l think.

Ronnie's baby died....cot death I expect....but she swapped her baby for Kat's while no-one was looking (well kat was in hospital following a heamorage) only for a bit, but she left it too long and when she went to swap him back for her dead one....the ambulance was already there

Deep trouble in the future there  :?

Hope that helps your Mum :))

Kid tend to be a bit one-sided and think of only theirb fav characters though...

    Love

    toni xx

Rob, I loved your answer, thank you so much! frogmorton? That's the business, I shall read it all to her later, very slowly, once she has watched the omnibus (such is my lack of interest in such matters I forgot that there is such a thing). I suspect sopme clarification will still be required: my deepest thanks to Charlie, Tia and Lucy. DD

What about BBC i player?, mind you I find it so depressing I keep well away from it, in fact I blame it all on Goering and Hitler, I mean if they had done a proper job of flaterning the East End in the first we wouldn't have this program on out TV's today!.

Oh mell, she can't master her Freeview box, or her mobile phone (which is the size of a brick, it's that old) let alone a computer. Thank you for the thought, tho, I appreciate it. DD
