That's the naproxen that has helped, yes? That is good news valval, long may it continue - and I hope you avoid the yellow furry tongue side-effect, it is not a good look. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Valval
I had hydroxychloroquine also but be aware there are side effects (isn't there always!!) You have to watch your eye sight. I was on it for nearly two years then had to go back to my Rheumy as was itching all over, and I mean itching, a hairbrush was all I could get relief from it, but was marking too much lol, looked like I'd had a run in with Freddy Kruger!! Hope things stay good for you as it's not often we get pain free x0 -
Val that is great news. Hope it contiues to work for you for a very long time.
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
Hi Val,
So pleased that you are feeling so much better in yourself. Long may it last. I have been on hydrox for about 18 mths now and like you it did take a long time to work.
