Have you seen any great films at the cinema recently?

Hello!
I decided to venture out to the sales yesterday (which wasn't too traumatic, but kept it down to an hour, that was more than enough!) and then I went to see the film 'Love and Other Drugs', which has Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead roles. I went on my own, to escape the house of cabin fever and was expecting a fun romcom... only the trailers don't tell you that Anne Hathaway's character, Maggie, is a girl who was diagnosed with Parkinson's when she was 26 and so you follow her and her relationship with Jake G and how he's just totally accepting of her condition... I did sob in parts of the film as it was a little too close to home, as even though I haven't got that disease (which would be dreadful), I do feel that having been diagnosed with RA so young is just awful&I am angry (no matter how much I try and deny it, I am) and I was jealous of Maggie as she ensnared a man who took her for her AND her disease... I long for that... it's no fun being alone...
Have you seen any good films over the festive period? I saw Gulliver's Travels on Boxing Day - a great family film, not to be taken too seriously!

Glad you had a nice day out. I never go out often due to not trusting my OH to take good enough care of my children. Maybe when they are a little older. I really want to see Voyage of the Dawn Treader a book I adored as a child. Maybe when the children are back at school???
