Hi folks, I just wondered what you all got up to today, the first day of the decade...
Personally I have been unable to even get out of bed as my knees, back and hands have decided to torture me for daring to enjoy myself last night.. I am now in full flare up mode.. What a way to start eh, lol

Hope that things have gone well for everyone...

Stripped three beds, re-made one, which involved going up and down the stairs. Put various bits of furniture back to their rightful places, which took some doing as was also encumbered with a stick and involved going up and down the stairs. Loaded the washing machine three times and distributed the washing around the house, which also involved going up and down the stairs. Vacuumed (ground floor only, sick of the stairs by then) did a little light dusting (ground and first, I had recovered some enthusiasm for stairs), thawed some beef and cooked dinner. Washed up. Made lots of tea. Popped on here form time to time. An utterly thrilling day. DD

Loads of housework. 3 Different dinners for all the various tastes.Washing up constantly, drying up to make room for the washing up. 3 lots of washing- thank goodness for tumble driers-looked at the Christmas tree and decided I didn't want to take it down. Spoke to my OH about twice all day-only when I have to. Watchd Aladdin again and tidied away 100 toys resident on my bed.2 hot water bottles and tea for all my pain.

Got woken up at 6.15 by a teddy being flung at high speed at my head.....then got jumped on my a hyperactive 2yr old till his dad came home and let me catch 5winks
Marshalled said 2yr old round supermarket, stopping approx every 4mins to prevent a 100m dash out the front door....3 time outs, lots of shouting and a lot of highspeed running (owwww), we finally left with enough food for dinner, very knackered parents and a toddler shouting "let me out, let me out" (we'd finally managed to strap him in the buggy :) )
Then we popped by our friends house to see their very very wee new baby boy (5wks early and absolutely tiny) at which our little hellcat turned into a small angel
All in all a very knackering day.....I hope the rest of the year involves less running or I'm going to need new legs!

Went for a walk in the country, ended up in a pub for a drink, then walked a further half a mile to another pub for lunch. Took down all the christmas and birthday cards, enjoyed looking at them all again. Started taking the decs off the christmas tree.Had far too much to eat..... again! An enjoyable first day of the new year.

I spent it waiting (2 hours) on a bus that didn't appear in Dundee to get to Aberdeen. So ended up getting a lift wi another two Dandies. Got to Pittodrie. Watched Chris Maguire score a belter of a goal. Then unfortunately seen Dundee United's Paul Dixon get away with a disgusting tackle which left our Joann Folly with a broken ankle. Then in the 95th minute (yes 6 mins stoppage time due to Joann being stretchered off, DU planned it I think) David Goodwillie (lmao) scored :x wasn't very happy. So we drew 1-1. Craig Brown's 3rd match in charge and we aint lost yet!. Got a lift from Aberdeen to Dundee by Greig (one of the Dandies that I got a lift with), then my bro picked me up in Dundee :).

And after it all I think I am getting a cold lol.
