Aparently just after nine tonight there was an earthquake in North Yorkshire, 3.6 I think..... :o
Didn't feel it here in Leeds but there are some up there that should have done..
I know someone (sorry, can't remember who) is in Catterick up there..

Hope all are well... :?:

    Hi Tony

I just heard about this too, and wondered whether you would have felt it.

wow! that was news to me, but we're over in the east of Yorkshire so we were maybe too far away.

wonder if Chris7 felt it? (is she home yet? she was away)
and I'll have to ring my friend tomorrow as she lives not far from SKipton, so may well have been in the thick of it so to speak!

well .... we certainly do live in interesting times!

Think it was felt in Cumbria too.. I have a pal in Richmond, will ring him tomorrow, mind you, he's usually wobbly on his feet by nine pm, haha...

Is it Cris7 that I was thinking of, from Catterick way?

The Cumbrian one was 3.6 too. Can't wait for all the amateur videos to go online especially that cow falling over.....

Hi folks, some great and funny responses..

Del, how dare you mock YorkAid.. It is a serious matter, one fella actually spilt his pint last night, ALL of the froth came off..
It's no laughing matter, Bradford was destroyed and we are now trying to raise £18.30 to repair the damage!!!!

    Hi Tony

Sorry I don't get in this bit much but to answer earlier musings from Wonky. Yes I am near Harrogate North Yorkshire. Not sure who is in Catterick? Think the latest quake started in a village near Ripon. It did sound like a huge lorry was trundling past my house which is odd cos I live in a cul de sac. It made the local news but no structural damage anywhere thank goodness.
Hope all was ok in Cumbria with the earlier quake there and that the wobbly cows and spilt pints were soon restored
