Hi all
I've not been on here for a long time as I have been working hard at trying raising awareness of RA and trying to help people in my local area, it's amazing how many sufferers are out there!!! I've started a Facebook group today called RA support UK, I did this because the only ones I found on there were based in America and treatment over there can be very different depending not their insurance etc, so feel free to join me or add as a friend, sending pain free thoughts

Well done you....I've got OA not RA so I wont look for it but I know what you mean. I'm a volunteer for Arthritis Care and when we do stalls and things like that as you say its amazing how mnay people out there have arthritis and how many have never heard of us and some of the ideas they have....eg...One man said to me he wished he had a blue badge it would make life easier....I said apply and told him who to get in touch with.....he said but I dont get DLA,,,that doesnt matter....he was really surprised

    Love

Great that you have been so proactive. Hope your RA is behaving.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
