Hospital for Gyne on Wednesday

Hello, Firstly, I'm sorry to have been absent for a while. The main reasons are Christmas, travelling round family and them coming to us, which was great, but worrying with the weather, (we had to put a least 1 trip to Oxford off, because although the snow wasn't too bad here, they had so much that a lot of the roads where closed and it seemed too much of a risk. Anyway, we all met up at Oxford Yesterday and it was lovely.
I just wanted to say that on Wednesday, I am going to the Gyneocology dept at the hospital and I hope that they will give me the 'all clear' abuot this silly cyst in my pelvic area. I am feeling a bit more nervous than I was, but try to remember that all the medics I've seen so far and the tests that have been done seem to show that its a negative as far as the serious malignant illnesses go. It may even have gone on its own, or it may need a small op to get rid of it so that it doesn't pop and cause problmes.
I haven't been writing much as I have been feeling that I didn't want to sound fed up and gloomy to everyone over Christmas and new year. If you have the time just give me a quick thought on Wenesday, the appointment is 4.10 pm. Thank you, as I know you will and I'll let you all know how things go. I have neurology the following week, so I'm getting my money's worth!!! Love and Happy New Year to everyone! Sue xxxxx

Hello woodbon, it's good to hear from you, I was wondering how things were going. I hope it all goes well on Wednesday and that you can get a clear answer, once and for all, about what exactly is going on. I am sure all will be well, which I know is easy for me to say, but I will be with you in spirit. Are you coming down to Ipswich or going up to Norwich? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi, thank you both for the good wishes. I'm going to Norwich, as the jouney is much shorter. I'll be glad when I know whats going on as I thought all my probs were over when I had a hysto, still it could well be just scar tissue or something. I had endometrosis and I remember the surgeon at the time saying he had to leave some as it was too risky to reach round the bowel, he didn't want to pop it!!!
