I consider myself to be a christen and in my book it means everyone should be treated equal regardless of what faith or sexual preferences they may have. I cannot believe that god would want people to be singled out.
My hubby was in the armed forces and we had gay friends and hubby took a hell of a lot of stick for it. Our eldest lad is gay and went through an awful time before he felt he could tell us. I had already guessed when he was about 16 years old but had said nothing. What right does anyone have to make people feel they cannot be who they are.
I do not care what sexual preference anyone is, it does not make them bad people or unable to work. I am proud of all my children and especially my eldest who is gay. He has studied hard got his PHD and now teaching and loves it. It had a wonderful partner and life is great for him. Everyone has their own views which is right but their is a difference between views and making people feel an outcast.

It shouldn't matter what they do in their private lives, as long as they are good people it doesn't matter to me, two of our best friends for over 23 years are gay, couldn't meet nicer folk... If people are horrible, that's different, but we can all be horrible eh??
