Sat here with a smile on mi face cause my wedding hat will be ready to pick up on saturday. :grin:
I am so excited. Will get a hat box too. :P
always wanted a hat box :lol:
brightened up a dreary day.

    I too have always wanted a hatbox. It seems like a really adult, female piece of kit, like elbow-length white satin gloves, a string of real pearls and a proper evening gown. No wonder you are smiling, julie47pf, your hat is going to be amazing! (would love to see a piccy, and of the box too!) DD

    Hi Julie glad the prospect of THE hat is cheering you up. I'm not really a hat person, they don't work well with my fringe. I do own a hat box though - it was one of my Granny's - she had lots of them and we were always fascinated by them and their contents when we were children. I use mine to house my "history box" which contains items that are now obselete and school children find fascinating (well so do adults actually.)

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Speedy thats a great idea i bet there are some interesting things in there. Yes never mind children loving to look i would too.
    I am really pleased with my hat and on the day should look quite nice, (even if i say so myself) :oops:
