Glad you are home now though.
You will just have to try to rest.

Oh dachshund, no! This does not sound good, not another fall? Dearie, dearie me, what are we going to do with you? I am so pleased that you have not broken anything, I hope the pain dullers do at least take off the edge, and I hope you are feeling OK in yourself: these things are very upsetting, no? It must be good to be home, I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Oh dear Joan...........
Thats not good....
But nothing broken, so you got away with it.......this time....
You must be more careful.....
hahaha.....me, telling some else to be careful.....
I must start taking my own advise.....
Good you're back home it one piece.....Rob0 -
Oh Joan
poor poor you
I am so glad you are home safe and just bruised and battered and as Rob said nothing broken.
The frame is not such a bad idea to be honest....you can attatch a bag and carry things aroung on it like the tv remote and things like that. You can get clips to go over the frame like you used on push chairs.
I wish you a very very speedy recovery

I know it hurts but you are so right, you have to keep moving as much as you can. Slow and steady wins the race, remember - and I hope the frame is useful, it must give very secure support and that is a boon for us tottery ones! I hope Sue is well - she must be so pleased to have you back, as are we. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I think it's the right thing to do, too, apparently CT scans are fairly straightforward so I hope you find it an easy thing to do. As for the nice bit, thank you, that's very kind of you to say. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hello dachshund, I think that some people do become more unsteady as their arthritis progresses, and that is why they fall. If it hurts to walk, and sometimes even with support it still does, then it is very easy to stumble or trip, so yes, indirectly arthritis does cause one to lose one's balance! Yet another thing to contend with, yes? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
