hi everyone 
seen my rumy today and actuly it isnt ra but is called seronegative spondyloarthropathy with sacroiliitis does anyone know what that means :?: i just got it wrong thinking he said ra when actully he was decribing this as ra but without the rumatuied factor, i am starting pysco again on the 14th of feb and seeing a foot specilits on the 1st. also why do i have to keep having blood test when i am on sulfzaline?

Hi Darren, it might be an idea to post again on the helpline forum, this sounds more like a topic for there. I think I know the answer to the blood test query: you need regular tests as sulpha is an immune-system suppressant drug, it is cleared from the body via the liver (or is it the kidneys? or both? I cannot remember) and they have to monitor your reactions to it to make sure you are tolerating it. I had fortnightly tests for years, you get used to them. DDHave you got the despatches?
