£50 rebate for certain british gas customers

Not sure if I am allowed to mention this but I have read British Gas are giving £50 rebates to anyone on their social tarrif.Although a customer of B.G I haven't signed up for the tarrif as I don't like to be on a list of vulnerable people, incase it gets into the wrong hands ,but if anyone is already customer there is no harm in making enqueries. I think you have to have limited savings and be on certain benefits.

    For an organisation that is swimming in money, you would think they could be as generous to all their customers. They over-charge to a massive extent for their stuff in the first place - they are never that willing to give any of it back, are they? I hope someone can benefit from this tho.
