Everyone needs a treat from time to time, so good for you. Try not to do it all again tomorrow tho - how about just a bit of it? Then a litttle bit less again on Thursday then the whole lot again the day after 'cos it's Friday! DD

In the days when I used to have hormones that were active I had 'grazing' days (usually about a week before the event) and yes, it was chocolate (not poxy carrots and celery) that would sate the desire. Could it be that? DD

Oh. Can you determine if you are genuinely hungry or just thinking that you are? If you have had a sugar binge (and we know you did) it could be your body trying to trick you into thinking it needs more, when in fact it doesn't. The early days of a diet can be tough if you drop ALL treats at the same time, a gradual withdrawal is better, it helps to avoid the peaks and troughs of sugar binges. I emapthise, it isn't easy. DD

It does have a chemical in it that promotes feelings of well-being and happiness, I can't remember its name, but it is one of the reasons why we girls find choccy so seductive. DD
