By my own son.....

I was surposed to be collecting my new 4x4 toy this morning.....

Everything planned......

Son and Son-in-law helping.....

Me and 'The Underkeeper', supervising.......

But after my second sleepless night, Giles (my son) came around a few minutes ago........took one look at me, and banned me from going.....

As he is about 6 inches taller than me, and built like a brick sh....
errr outhouse.... I decided maybe I'd agree......

Truthfully, I'm so glad he did.........

I think it would have been just plain daft.........

I hate admitting defeat, but on this occassion, I will....

so glad he so careing rest if you can when do you get new toy is he fetching it so you can look at it out of window???????????? or do you want to do that your self????????????????????? i not got car can not drive so do not know how these things work lol also it might be a man thing that i just do not get lol

Son and son-in-law are there now collecting it......

Hopefully they are going to put it on my drive....

May need the assistance of a farm loader...

But there is one waiting on farm......

You are very lucky Rob to have family who care and are prepared to look after you like this.

Sadly mine treat me like a criminal and behave as if I've deliberatley developed arthritis to annoy them. :x

Hot off the press.......

'The Underkeeper' has named my new toy 'Big Bad Bill'....

And BBB is just coming through the centre of Buckingham as we speak....

Securely (we hope) strapped down on trailer........

Am I looking forward to its arrival..........well just a little.......

And I bought a set of tyres/wheels off EE-bay.......

at 31 inches high and 15 1/2 inches wide.......they are quite eerrrrrr big.....

Just hope the drive is big enough........It should be.....I measured it about 20 times.....

Well.....I guess I better check that one more time......

BBB is sitting on my drive.........

Fits a treat.......

Unless I forget its there after dark, and remove the side of my car reversing on drive.....

It doesn't look as big as it did on farm.....

Needs a little cleaning.....

Been sitting on farm for several years........

And the mit and shuck all over it will keep my roses in fertilizer for years to come......

I must take some photos as its restored.......

Liking the sound of BBB, and is son single?? lol :oops:

Hate to be a party pooper but dont forget to tell the insurance company about the wheels....some companie see any change like that as 'a modification' and I'd hate for summat to happen and your insurance to get decline because ' its your responsibility to keep them informed' (yes THAT old chestnut again... anything to keep their hand in their pocket mate).

Sorry..............he's married... 3 years next week......

Those new big tyres are standard ones.....as per manual...

So 'Standard fitment'.....

Hopefully they'll arrive today....

I haven't had a decent sleep since last Friday, so I have intention of fitting them....

Well........maybe.....

Got a deer so skin and butcher today, so I guess that enough..

wonderful that the new toy has arrived, and glad your son and sil cared enough to tell you to stay home.

will sen oh round to fit your tyres. manager of a tyre depot that deals in heavy stuff. and construction so quite familliar big heavy tyres.
