Chronic pain syndrome and Fibroy, what diagnosis mean to you

Chronic pain syndrome!. anyone on here got it??,also when I googled it I kept getting hits for it linked with Fibromyalgia so I e mailed the Fibromyalgia uk charity and asked them, they said that many think they are one of the same with only slight difference, I'm still confused slightly!?.
Oh and one last thing does having any of them make any difference as to how you are genrally treated by oficialdom and health professionals or is it just another problem to have to deal with. :sad:

It was rather interesting explains the function of pain and how it can go wrong.

Hi Toni it was interesting but they could have spoken to people with RA and OA instead of just a few extremes, I did like the brain gun thing boy I'd give me left leg for a go on that thing, wow no pain for a bit is right up my street like so many on here I guess!.

Totally impressed I was.

Hi Mellman..

Read your post but unfortunately i can't offer any help..
I am still waiting my diagnosis..
I just wanted to say i wish you well and hope that now you have a diagnosis it can be treated accordingly for you..
Hopefully someone will see your post and be able to offer you some good info..
