for a 26 year old to be so scared by storms to have a small panic attack?

    We are all afraid of something,I sympothise with your son,when I was a small child,a big storm brought a tree down on top of our house,I have been nervous of them ever since,and even now at 60 if it's a bad one with lots of thunder and ligtning,will hide under the stairs,taking my kids with me when of course they were little and my dogs.Consequently,my kids,now all grown up,have a fear of storms,my dogs that I have now are terrified.So I did not help them at all,and I regret that terribly.Now for me I have a kind of panic attack every time I walk through the doors of a hospital,get the shakes and pure cold sweats.Now cannot watch any thing to do with hospitals on the TV,Greys Anatomy used to be a favourite,but since all the ops I've had,now just can't watch.I am a now sad person :sad: Mirabella
