I posted a while back about rushing around to find a suitable fridge to store my Cimzia as mine is unreliable. Well, many phone calls to Healthcare, some saying I could have a drug fridge, some saying not, I got home last night to hear a message on my answer phone saying 'your fridge is being delivered on Tuesday.' What fridge? From where? How big is it? I wondered whether I had accidentally bought one online when I was researching fridges! But obviously a message left on rheumy nurse's phone in the morning saying I was a little bit stressed about the fridge produced results - in 6 hours!

I'll believe it when I see it!

Also, if you remember my gate - all fixed and fabulous, no more struggling to lock/unlock while carrying shopping etc.

    Hi Sal
Looks like everything is going to be sorted, gate, fridge - Do you need anything else whilst the good luck is running? I hope the fridge is ok for you I remember you saying that you had a small kitchen.
You will have to let us know how it goes on Tuesday.

Thanks Cath and Barbara! Yes, have done the lottery so fingers crossed. I'll throw a party if I win! I hope the fridge is a small one that can go under my desk in the hall. Will get the measurements on Monday.

    Hi Sal,
Good news all round then. It must be bliss with the new gate now working properly. Will the fridge have enough space of a chocolate bar or two??
I’m scoffing a tube of Rolo’s at the mo, not had them for years. Wont me to fling one your way? The last ones mine though.:lol:

Thanks I! Yes, I'll have a rolo off you, though my waistline is expanding rapidly!

It's really good when things finally fall into place. Usually takes perseverance in my experience!

    Hi Sal,

Glad you got that sorted and number 3 can't be far off for you either. Not sure it will be the lottery though

Gates need to be good... I used to have one here I could hardly open and became a total prisoner on a bad day so for me that's more important than the fridge but well done getting both. Hope it fitted in the hall way by the way?

Hope things keep improving for you. ((((( ))))) Cris xx

    Thanks Tony and Cris!
Cris, I did win the lottery but only a tenner ha! ha!

The gate is great. It's got a fob key so involves no effort whatsoever to open and it is self closing. It's only when you get something sorted out do you realise how you have been struggling with the old thing.

    How are you these days?

    Hi Sally

Good to see the gate is a success, should make things a little easier for you. Do hope the fridge is a baby one for you and that it arrives on time Tuesday.
    take care

    Hi Sal,

Couple of notches above death today so getting there :lol:

So envy the gate.... Mind mine is 15' wide and the main one in here.... it used to be a home made one actually made out of plumbing pipe welded together.... so heavy and one gate... now its 2 light weight ones mass produced and easy to open except in then winds ..... then it tends to swing shut on the side of the car but wee kinda used to that now... the old one i wouldn't like to meet a wind that could have shifted that one

Hope your feeling a ton better and the newer drugs are helping? (((( )))) Cris xx

Hi gang! nice to be in touch again.
Room for chocolate Lynn, even though it is a small fridge the drugs don't take up that much room!

Hi Chris, how are you doing?

Cris, glad you are just about keeping your head above water. I had to fight for my gate - it's like Fort Knox around here now. Wish I could get one for you too....
