If I could travel back in time... it wouldn't be 'who' but 'what'.
I'd like to see the start of the universe, I've always been fascinated by Cosmology.
If it had to be a who... Mr E=mc2 For making my life hell at uni with his theories of general relativity... only joking... genius tbh! I'd like to meet the man behind those incredibly long formulas. (For those who don't know - they were so long he invented another Maths language to help shorten them!).0 -
Had a serious thought about this and think I would like to be Ginger Rodgers Dancing with Fred Astaire

Nelson Mandela coming out of prison
Berlin Wall coming down
Two things I would like to have seen
Like to have been
Livingstone or Stanley discovering Africa.0 -
I would have liked to have seen the Roman Empire in it's hay-day...
As to who I would have liked to have been or met.....
Think meeting Audrey Hepburn in her early twenties would have been alright
Not sure who I would have like to be...
Maybe Ol' blue eyes... Might know the truth about Miss Monroe then along with a lot of other secrets... :shock:Me-Tony

I would like to be at the feeding of the 5000 or even the Jairus' daughter/ Lazarus being brought back from the dead. Can you imagine if you actually witnessed any of these miracles you'd be overwhelmed.

I love the Tudor period in history, but they didnt wash so it would be really smelly!!!
I love looking at National trust houses, and thinking of all the people who have there down the years. Imagine if houses could talk!!

i think i would like to meet marilyn monroe too Tony, just to see what she really was like theres been so many books and all with different opinions,0

I think I would go back to the era of where Native American Indians roamed their plains, hunting the Buffalo, fishing the creeks, and gathering wild fruits and nuts.
Before the white man brought so called civilisation to them.
Now that would have been a very educational visit
Regards

Thinking about it i could go on and on... am going to think more on this one..

I would like to have met Bess of Hardwick who had Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire built in the 1590s. She was the richest woman in England after Queen Elizabeth, and she was a shrewd business woman, which was very unusual in Tudor times. She had six children, and outlived four husbands, each one richer than the last. In her own right, she was renowned as a moneylender, property dealer, investor in iron works, coal mines and glass works. What a woman :!:0
