My effort at poetry

Hils

Here's my poem...

A girl stood on the burning bridge her joints all of a quiver,

All of a sudden her wig fell off and floated down the river.

What shall i do? i'm as bald as can be

I'll jump in and fetch it, no one will see.

Little did she know, she wasn't aware,

A good looking fella was standing right there.

"Can i help you" the watching man cried,

Oh i fancied a swim, no worries, she lied!

Ok said the fella, i'll leave you be

i'm off to the pub. Brrr!, too cold for me.

Nice one Hils ......you ought to paste in in Poetry Corner at the top of this Forum then it'll stay there instead of sinking into oblivion when other posts come in front of it.
