    Having watched it again she was lucky they weren't prepared to use that hammer on her. It took the crowd a while but they got their act together in the end.

    I read that onlookers thought it was a set-up for a film or TV programme when they saw the lady attacking the robbers, and didn't realise it was for real to begin with. It's a strange comment on modern life when people automatically think of spoofs for TV, but then you certainly wouldn't expect to see such an old lady taking on some robbers. I doubt that most of us would have been as brave, ( or in some ways foolish ) as her. The man she knocked off his motorbike will probably sue her for assault now :shock: :shock:

    I think it's great she put her life on the line..
    People now adays are too scared to help others because they scared of the repecussions..
    I am one of those people who will open my mouth if i have to and will not see anything unjust happen.. luckily i have only had a mouthful of abuse, but i wouldn't be able to sleep at night if i saw sokething and did nothing about it..
    I reckon super gran defo needs a reward..
