Job Centre Tales

Just come back from the job centre (joys). And Well, the woman reduced me to tears! So much for having compassion against people.
As you all know I've had a tough past month and a bit so, yes I hardly did job search due to this and do they give a crap NO!.
I was also told that having Trainee Journalist on my job search wasn't good enough for "the current climate" well to be honest neither is my other two choices since NOWHERE IS LOOKING!
Anyways, I tried (and failed) to tell her I was looking for work in Aberdeen also due to my possibility of living there and she didnt take it in. I told her I have been in contact about volunteering with places... (including Arthritis Care) but she wouldn't listen their either... Basically she bullied me. Told me that I aint doing what I should be, well if she had been through what I have I doubt she would have done it all either stupid moo.
So anyways, what she did brought back my memories of being bullied at Subway and brought back the fact I have lost the one person I could have a laugh and giggle with about anything, so I left in tears.
Luckily my older brother (yes the brother who decides when he wants to be nice to me) was outside waiting, and he went MENTAL when I told him what had happened. Thing is, this isnt the first time I have had a run in with the Job Centre. Few months back I was told looking for a job is more important than my health.... (Come think about it I aint seen that woman since I complained).
My bro is hell bent on making her pay, by making sure she joins me on the dole queue basically. After my past experience I have regular contact with the manager who's number I have and well, me and my brother will be phoning him, I wont be able to speak to him as I will just break down again, but I told my brother everything. And well my bro know's I won't lie. And the fact I am a anti-bullying campaigner too kinda goes for me.
But anyways, I needed to let it all out and well thanks for listening (reading)

Dear Pammie,
Is this woman in the real world? I am so sorry that you feel that you feel you have been bullied and feel reduced to tears. Idiots, thats what they are. We are all very vulnerable - if she thinks you are not doing good enough what has she offered? - what jobs are actually available for you in relation to your age, experience and disability - Let your brother let rip, go through the channels of a formal complaint - Bullying is just not acceptable be it a child or adult
All my love poppet

Thank you. I am just glad I have the manager number. and can talk to him personally at the Job Centre.
She even had a go at my Dyslexia (because I want to do journalism) which I thought was very inappropriate of her to even question!I ♥ Runrig.

Had a cuppa when I got in. I'm still livid, but not as much. I feel that she has totally violated my hopes and dreams of becoming a Journalist, which they are not really meant to do!I ♥ Runrig.

My bro has just got off the phone to them. It's being looked into. Manager agreed that I shouldn't leave the building in tears like I did and that I shouldnt have been spoken to the way I was.
Gona be phoned/or seeing them soon, I'm gona write everything down what happened since I never forget when I am being bullied.I ♥ Runrig.

My mum now knows about the calamity today. I've emailed Dyslexia Action to see what I can do after her (the Job Centre person not my mum lol) comment about dyslexia and journalism....
Oh I forgot to mention she tried to push me into (wait for it) an aprentiship with a travel agency.... no travel agency will take a 26 year old on as one. Get a grip lady! She only did it as she seen I have a NC Travel & Tourism course under my belt! What she doesnt know is I spend a Whole YEAR applying to Travel Agencies and got nowhere because I can't do simple math without ANY help!
Meh!I ♥ Runrig.
