Lynn, You did really well you should be very proud of yourself.
I still remember my first metho injection it is very different to the practice ones you do. It doesn't sound as if you are a wimpette at all.
The sky's the limit for you now.
    from a very impressed Tracey

I was going to pm you to see how you got on but took a look here first just incase. I see you posted at Two o clock in the morning!
Well done for doing the injection yourself. You have to try these things before you can make a judgement.
Now how are you feeling. Any better? I do hope so. So glad you are not having to bury the 'feeling' with loads of food. I haven't had to do that for a while with a combination of no meds at all or anti sickness pills for the few times I have been able to take MTX. I have had no sickness since September and what a difference that makes.

So hoping it keeps helping you....and well done Lynn

Have you had any side effects ................apart from not sleeping, though that could be the excitement of your achievement of course

    Congratulations Lynn!

Sticking a needle into yourself IS a big deal and I never quite got used to doing my Humira injections, even though I had it for 3 years! And at least with Humira you don't actually have to SEE the needle! So really well done and I hope the mtx does good things for you.

Oh Lynn, well done you. I am sooooo impressed. Fingers crossed this is the beginning of a new improved phase for you.
You deserve a big treat for that. Does this mean that you are going solo from next week?

Thanks again for your support - some of you "old timers" might remember me having an attack of the vapours at the thought of the tablets - who'd have thought it???

    Take care all of you,
    love from Lynn xxx

Speaking as an old timer Lynn - that had crossed my mind too :lol::lol:

    Hi collywobble
I am a bit late in congratulating you.
Well done you, I think it is a big thing to attack ones self with a needle, and it does take courage. (I am a mtx pill popper)
    Take care

I never did inject myself. I switched off when the first injection didn't make a difference. I continued at hospital a few more times but I knew deep down I would be back on the tablets.

I am so glad things are going well Lynn,

    Best wishes
