So who of you on here can imagine any kind of alien life existing out there in the dark void of space then?.

Mell might be their leader :!:
I just read this article though, and it makes you think.

Well I am sure there has to be other beings out there......wonder if they have arthur in there lives... just a thought.Love

what makes people think that they could possibly be the only livin things, judging by some of the "people" ive come across on my travels id say there are a load of aliens amoungst us, and there breading
nah honestly i wouldnt be surprised, why should we be the only ones in the whole universe.0 -
I just hope so there is,a planet somewhere, where they have all learned how to live in peaceClose enounters,oh! yes, yes, please. Mirabella0

I don't know the answer about aliens, but I did see a UFO once. I was with other people who saw it too, and we have never been able to find out what it could possibly have been. It was a very large bright light which hovered low in the sky for several minutes, and then shot across the sky at enormous speed. There was no sound at all, so it couldn't have been an aircraft.0

If they are out there then it really would be interesting to know if they do suffer with arthur... Lol
I've always wondered what the effects of zero gravity would be on my joints... Would love to go up there...
I think there must be something out there somewhere, it would be arrogant to believe we were the only ones.... I'm sure they would be nothing like us though, what reason would there be for them to actually be like us, humanoid??
All... Mulder n Scully.... Lol

I reckon there are a few 'Aliens' who post regularly on AC Forum......
Certainly 'not of this world'..........
I may even be one of them........
Or even two........Rob0 -
Well considering there are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand in the world, it seems unlikely that some would not have planets in the 'Goldilocks zone'.
That and there is quite a well respected theory that we are all aliens anyway with the RNA or protiens for life having potentially landed on Earth from an asteroid over 3,000,000,000 yrs ago.
I think there probably is alien life out there somewhere, but the distances are so vast that I don't expect we will ever find it, so to all intents and purposes we are alone.0 -
why should we be the only ones out there. odds must be in there being some kind of life form and most of it being further advanced.
only humans could belive we are the only/best there is, there is more going on than we could ever understand or wish to. just because we can not see something does not meen it does not exist only time will tell not in my life time i am sure but if there is i do hope they have cure for arthiritis that would be great valval0 -
I forgot to mention that they have found arthritis in sea creatures that were around long before the dinosaurs.
So I guess its been here for quite a while. Wish it would hurry up and go away though.0 -
A very interesting Subject alien life forms, would they talk a different language to us, use a different monetry system, think irrationally, drive erratically, have no powers of reason if so i'm married to one
Cheers guys
Colin
No there is no such thing as alien life in any form its all a matter of time space and quantum physics.WHEN GOD GIVES YOU LEMONS MAKE LEMONADE0 -
Well it got you all thinking that’s for sure, the thing is space is rather big, you night think it’s miles to Milton Keynes say but that nuffing to space, our Galaxy alone is 2000 light years deep and over 30,000 to the Galactic centre and contains some 400 billion stars and that’s just one there are another 400 billion Galaxies out there and the number is still growing! , oh just a foot note I might be slightly out on the size of our own Galaxy this as I quote from memory but it’s flippin big anyway.
That said space is full of all the chemicals needed to make us and the planet we stand on war over abuse and generally use for our every need so logic days there has to be loads of life out there but it’s so far away we wont ever find it, don’t panic though just be assured it is there and probably loser than we know, my money is on the moon Europa that orbits Jupiter.
They have detected that the outer rotation of it’s ice crust moves a lot slower than it’s magnetic field and the surface is also cracked and discoloured due to liquid welling up from under it, it’s also squeezed by Jupiter’s powerful gravity field and it’s a sure thing it’s heating up the moons centre hence liquid water has a good chance of existing, why water?, well any other liquid such as methane or nitrogen gas would power through the mantel and blast out into the thin atmosphere this doesn’t happen so odds on it’s water down there, with I bet life grubbing about down there quite happy with it’s lot.
One thing though why is it Aliens always abduct red necks from the back woods?, now if you could travel the void at speeds above light who would you want to have a chat too?, Jed with his pick up low I Q and general bad habit’s or would you want to chat to someone with a good brain say Steven Hawking now there’s a man worth abducting for a Galactic chat, nope dear old Jed is a danger not just to himself but all of us, I mean just think if you were an Alien who’s come all this way and he’s what turned up the moment you hit the transporter switch!?, you probable think, Hmmm organic carbon based life not intelligent but prevalent!, I wonder what it taste like grilled for 20 Dwangles or so?.0 -
