Where are you going on hols this year

No doubt this has been done before so sorry if it has.
I cannot wait for the caravan season to start so i can go down to Mablethorpe. Nine miles of sandy beaches north east winds to blow the cobwebs away. Lovely local food to eat..who needs abroad when we have such wonderful scenery in UK..... role on March.

Ey up Lupes... Love Mablethorpe, I've been holidaying in Skeggy every year since I was born back in 1597, lol.....
We had our own static there for nine years too..
My parents have now retired to Skeg, and we often take a trip up to Mablethorpe.... Lovely beaches eh?

We will be going to Skeggy a few times this year as usual, Ireland in April, and hoping to go to Northern Spain later on...

We will be staying put at home in sunny Brighton ; we have the sea one side and the beautiful south downs the other . Jillyb

I love caravans I started with a small tourer, then progressed to a non mains static near mablethorpe, upgraded to a mains static, then moved to a caravan near spurn point and then had a lovely static loacted on a quiet site looking over the Golf Course at Sewerby Nr Bridlington, regretably I had to sell when my mums health deteriorated to the point that I just could manag her at the van. But really miss it and if I ever win the lottery it will be the first thing I buy!

Dont think I will be having a holiday this year - well until I know where I stand with work I certainly can't book anything, and I have jobs that need doing in the house and garden

love Brighton went around 4 years ago. Wasn't well enough to do much as i was recovering but promised myself i would returned. You are so lucky to live in such a great place.

fingers crossed majorca for birthday love to get some where warm and dry in may gets me moving for summer go all inc so only need to walk a lot and swimm couple of times a day works wonder
love mablethorpe been there loads in the past no car so more difficult these days to get there
skegness get there most years even if only for day out
brighton been there a time or two for the day when visiting uncle in london all lovely

Spare room decoration has stopped for couple of days as hubby's back twinged again , ( years of moving me from armchair to wheelchair must have weakened it ! ) , so those of you queueing up to be our guests will need to turn a blind eye to the decor for now . Afraid you may need to bring your own tea bags ; we like twinings english breakfast - we're a bit posh in our brighton council flat don't you know ! Jillyb

Don't worry Jilly, I always carry some tetleys with me, you never know when you'll need them, lol..
Don't worry about the decor for us, as long ad the walls aren't scumchester united colours that's ok by me

I will be going to Eastbourne in April for my bruv's surprise 60th party. Then over to see my daughter in Brighton. She is living in one of my ex-husbands 3 houses so I might claim squatters rights one day to pay him back for all the cr*p he put me through. Only when daughter is ready to leave of course!

I have been asked to go to Spain for Christmas but would rather celebate Christmas at home.

Don't want to make anyone jealous BUT This year in May We are driving up from Hondon to Aigues Mortes in the Camargue in Provence for a few days Then to Toulon to take a ferry to Corsica A few days later a ferry from Bonifacio to Sardinia.A week in Sardinia and then back again We may stop offf for a couple of days in Carcasonne Two spare seats in the car Anyone fancy it????? :evil :evil :evil :evil
