Hi All , I am still waiting for my car to get repaired , phoned the garage and they said that the fellow from the insurance as yet to look at it then repairs can , I could ask for a curtosey car but I want to learn in my own car ( have to get used to that steering wheel ball on my own car ) just hope its not going to take too long.

the weather today is lovely here, just tried my power washer and and the water just stared to pour out the bottom , got this at xmas , I put it in my shed then when the snow cleared and the warm weather came I went out to get it , I was amazed to see that the lance was broke must have fell , now the water just pours out the bottom it was a lovely colour too 1800 watt motor 160 bar now I might have to get a new one with less watt motor and 140 bar.

Hmmm power washers my good Kartcher went Pete Tong and then I got a Halfords one, well that was April last year and I went to use it and it's dead, only used it twice,at this rate it will be cheaper to hire the dam things.

Mike, car repairs can take a long time, especially at this time of year. People have more prangs in the winter, due to the weather, dark evenings etc, but hang on in there, your car will be back and then you can carry on. Just don't hit anything else! In the first week of January last year some twerp reversed into me at a petrol station. Daisy was booked in at the first available time to be mended - the first week of March, two months later! I lost her for a whole week too. Yours was taken in far quicker and I am sure it won't be long now. DD

They usually get the repairs done as quick as they can on the scheme but if you are struggling without the car then you should think about getting a courtesy one Rkid..

    Best of luck

Power washers don't last forever, often the motors give up or the mouldings fall prey to the frost, I've had a few. Buy a cheapie £35 from the diy store, they all do a similar job.

    Hi Mike

So you are still waiting eh? It's a waiting game with the odd call to chase things along to your insurance if you can.

As for the power washer - I never had one ever, but have borrowed my brother's and it is good. Like mell's it's a k*rcher I think.

Airwave probably has the best idea of all at that price you can't go wrong.

    Love

    Toni xx
