can any one help me with advice on dla im just not getting any where with them?

Hi there,

With DLA these days you should probably expect to need to be very organised and have up to date information about how your arthritis is affecting your ability to live independently. For example tell your GP and any arthritis specialist at the hospital that you are applying and make sure that you describe your condition in a way that they will back up. Even so you should be ready to appeal a first rejection to your application, so ask the person at the CAB if they are experienced in representing people at appeal. If not there are other welfare rights organisations that can help. The key is to fill in the forms very carefully and keep a copy of all the information you send in.
