I'm so sorry to hear that Debs is having a rough time. Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family, so it is a very sad time.

Thinking of you Debs if you read this.

I really feel for you my love We lost our lovely Collie cross Sainsbury 10 years ago On the day he was put to sleep you could have rowed a boat on the tears in our kitchen. However, for the last six years we have adopted two little Spanish strays Rascal and Sammy We never thought that any dog could take the place of our beloved Sainz.Oh but they have They seem to have brought so much love back into our lives Please think about another dog.A puppy might be too much hard work but a young rescue dog Who knows??:smile::smile:

    My Dear little Sis

I am so very very sad to hear this sad news.

I was lucky enought to meet Snowy and he was a really really smashing boy. Beautiful and powerful, yet soft as anything - protective of you, his 'Mum'.

    All my very best

    Lots of love

Hi Everyone & thank you all so much for you luv & support.
Im so sorry ive been away from the forum for so long. I have been checking in every day but not been up to posting much.
As some of you know my dad has been poorly & in & out of hospital, he had another urine infection in January, he fell & knocked my mum flying before she called the ambulance. so weve had to keep going down to help them out & im having to get mums shopping (All the things she cant get delivered). Mums eyesight had slowly been getting worse too & when she finally saw the hospital consultant he told her her eyesight wouldnt come back, she is now registered as partially sighted. My Brother has been doing to bulk of the running around, sorted out home delivery, drs home visits & prescriptions. The mobility car has had to go back as neither can drive any more.Im so thankful thats he's not been at work the past 2 months to help out down there, he is 20mins away, im an hour 15 from them. Ive been doing what i can & going down again next week to do some bits,i.e cut dads hair, mums toe nails etc that she cant do for herself.
Then we had the dog put to sleep last weds night, they say it comes in threes.I dont think i can even think about getting another, he was a rescue dog & Pyreanne mountian dogs are hard to come across. He was special in so many ways.He would have been 12 in march so its a good age for a big dog.Hes back legs had gone so it was the kindess thing to do.He fell asleep with his head in my lap as i was talking to him, it was the hardest thing ive ever had to do
Im worn out,in pain & upset by it all. So please bare with me,Normal service will resume soon.
I must get in the cafe as Rose keeps chucking me eclairs out
Take care everyone & thanks Rose for the post.
    luv n hugs for all.debs

    Oh Debs,
I am so sorry everything has come at once for you. I am glad you were with Snowy at the end it is one of the hardest things to do.
My dad was going blind and we joined his local blind association and they were wonderful with sorting out all sorts of aids.
My heart goes out to you all.
Many hugs and gentle vibes to you all,
