    Thank you Sylvia especially for remembering me :grin:

    I had a wonderful time - we went to the Maldives to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday (a bit early as it falls in half term this year) WITHOUT the kids :shock:

    I cannot begin to tell you all how wonderful it was - swimming in the Indian ocean and walking on white sand as soft as talcum powder....temps of about 30 deg daily and sun sun sun :grin:

    Tink - I am looking pretty much as always, but very tanned despite factor 50...oh yes I had my nails done though :wink: just in time to ruin them with all the washing and ironing and of course....GARDENING!!

    and yes 12 hours flight - I have jetlag (the world is gently swaying).....I promise to do as little as poss...the sun? I asked if l could have some and the waiter said yes....
