I started with Osteo-Chondritis Dessecans in both knees when I was about 13 I think, had problems with the knees since and has caused OA in both, my spine started after a slipped disc many years ago... MRI scan that they finally did comfirmed OA in lower spine, osteophites aplenty, much sciatica ensued.. Fun fun fun..
Wrists and hands just started to hurt about a yr and a half ago, or summat like that.. Got very painful in a short space of time.. Got referal to Rheumy doc last March, diagnosis, serpo-neg.. Although I am still not sure what he is thinking as he has just sent me for the tests for carpal tunnel... He is a bit strange though..

Hi ,Mine began, i mean really began the day after i had my carpel tunnel op on my hand. Was there a bit was sent to one rheumatologist who did nothing. one year later after hand op,was sent to another who after tests said RA.he also said RA caused the carpel tunnel, strange-- All i know is it set the whole thing off .Has anyone had carpel with RA? Keep going.Paddy
